Austin begins offering ASL Emergency Alerts

Austin and Travis County now have a system to send emergency alerts in American Sign Language.

They are working with Deaf Link to issue weather warnings and other alerts through phones, computers and tablets.nSan Antonio and Fort Worth already have similar programs. Sign up for the alerts here. Read more about the service here or watch the ASL video below.
