CODA's chances of winning Oscars just got a boost

The movie about a deaf family won the Screen Actors Guild's top film award and that makes it more likely to take home some awards at next month's Oscars ceremony (March 27).

Apple TV+ bought the move at the Sundance Film Festival for $25 million. It stars Academy Award winner Marlee Matlin and Academy Award nominee Troy Kotsur

It won the SAG Award for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture, took the top award for best picture, best adapted screenplay and Troy Kotsur won best supporting actor. Here is the cast of CODA backstage at the SAG awards.
