College Football Player Born Deaf

First-year student Aaron Jones is suiting up this fall for the University of Pennsylvania football team.

The 220 pound running back is from Bethesda, Md.and the son of Abraham Jones, who also played for Penn as a cornerback when it was the 2021 Congressional Cup champion,

In high school, Jones was a four-time letter winner and two-time captain of the football team

He told WDVM-TV:

“My first two years I was struggling getting opportunities, coaches weren’t giving me opportunities.”
