FDA Approves over-the-counter hearing aids

The FDA says it is going to make hearing aids cheaper and easier to buy over the counter without a prescription or even a medical exam.

The change could happen as early as October. A new category of hearing aids will make the devices available for adults with mild and moderate hearing loss. The hearing aids will be available at pharmacies, stores and online. An Associated Press video report has more information:
