Man hits deaf commuter in New York subway
A deaf woman was attacked in the New York City Subway yesterday, knocking her onto the tracks.

The 59-year-old victim, identified as Xingjuan Zhou, was rescued and the man was arrested.
He was identified by NYP as Vladimir Pierre, 41. Zhou hurt her head in the fall and was treated for facial injuries at a local hospital. The attack took place at the Union Square station. She was asked about the incident in a video posted by the New York Post:
