Maryland’s First Community Center for the Deaf opens

A community center for the deaf opened yesterday in Frederick, Maryland.

The center will host workshops, classes, celebrations and even serves as a mobile vaccination clinic. President Linda Stoltz said:

“I just want the Deaf community to feel like they have a home that they can come here anytime they want and they can see their friends. They can ask for help if they need help with something they can come here and we’ll be able to provide that to them.”
