Mural honors deaf, hard-of-hearing community
A new mural in downtown Rockford, Illinois is designed to recognize the large deaf community in the city.

It was painted by an artist known as Fatherless. Rockford resident Stacy Ritter told WREX-TV:
"To see something like that in a major display honoring our culture and our language it really makes us almost feel even more involved and more included in the Rockford community as a whole."
