Student arrested for beating Deaf Teen

Trent Irwin says he was left with significant injuries when he was attacked at a sleepover because he is deaf.

The attack happened Sept. 25 near Dallas at a friend's house where Irwin thought he was safe. Members of the community held a silent protest last night in support of the teen.

The county sheriff's office says it has arrested 17-year-old for the crime. CBS-DFW has a video report or read their story here.
