AI Company Sets up ASL Learning Site

Nvidia, the world’s leading maker of AI chips, says it is launching an AI platform to make learning sign language easier.

The platform is called Signs and features a 3-D avatar to demonstrate each sign. By keeping their video cameras on while interacting with the platform, users can get feedback on how well they are doing. There are only 100 signs on the site now, but Nvidia says it will soon increase that to 1,000. The site is free and was created in partnership with the American Society for Deaf Children.
