Grocery chain pays $280,000 to settle deaf job applicants' complaint

Sprouts has agreed to pay $280,000 to settle claims that it did not provide ASL interpreters to three Colorado job applicants so it wouldn't have to hire them.

Sprouts also agreed to provide training to managers related to its accommodations policies, despite the fact it denied wrong-doing. Kimberly Zeigler, Megan Thomas and Raymond Clark will receive funds based on backpay and such. Read the complaint here and see the settlement agreement here.
