Nyle DiMarco is working on a short documentary about a deaf high school football player.

It is called Audible and it centers on Amaree McKenstry-Hall at Maryland School for the Deaf. It will premiere on Netflix later this year.

DiMarco wrote in an Instagram post:

“Football player Amaree McKenstry-Hall and his Maryland School for the Deaf teammates attempt to defend their winning streak while coming to terms with the tragic loss of a close friend.”

The actor, model, and producer has three other works in progress:

  • A series in development for NBC about a deaf family.

  • A feature film version of the nonfiction book Deaf President Now! The 1988 Revolution at Gallaudet University.

  • A half-hour comedy that DiMarco will star in about being a deaf man in America.
