White House commits to terp at every press briefing

The Biden White House says it will include a sign language interpreter at all of its daily press briefings.

Press secretary Jen Psaki announced the change at today’s briefing.

The Trump administration didn’t include an interpreter until late in the term and then only spastically after the National Association of the Deaf sued over the lack of an interpreter and federal judge ordered the change.
